Swedish Baritone Saxophone player Boo Egebjer (homepage http://boo.egebjer.just.nu) has made himself a big name as a composer and a musician with a big horn. He is an amazing jazz musician with a lyrical and melodious touch that few can match.
This Rhapsody on his own songs around the theme Wermdö Archipelago is a beautiful example of how Egebjer makes ends meet - jazz improvisation with classical composing, choir and soloists. A small jazz group of young very talented players meet several local choirs of both children and mixed adults, all blended with the sound from the Wermdö Church´s own bells, well in tune with the music.
