On this CD you hear organ music by Bach, Brahms, Bondeman and Mendelssohn played on the organ from 1868 of Gamleby church in South of Sweden. The soloist Anders Bondeman was born in 1937 and is considered the creator of the modern school of improvisationin Sweden, and also one of the greates interpreters of Bach´s music in our time. He was the winner of the improvisation contest in Haarlem in 1965. Anders Bondeman is heard also on nosag CD 2098, The Organ of St Jacob´s Church, together with organist/composer Michael Waldenby.
