Recital of Music for Organ Solo from 20th September 2003:
English Organ Music from Purcell to our time - together with solo songs by Alan Griffiths.
The organ solo items of the recital are, in part, a repeat of a concert given at Botkyrka Church in 1996. The date chosen for the present Recital, 20th September 2003, is coincident with the removal of the English Church Building from Wallingatan, Stockholm, in 1913 to its present location in Dag Hammarskjölds väg 14. The CD also contains a spoken presentation of the Church in Stockholm – telling the history of the church building – by Paul Leopold, a senior member of the congregation in Stockholm.
