GASON cd 760 - MARIA HULTHÉN BIRKELAND: VART ÄN DU GÅR

Maria Hulthén Birkeland - born and raised in Långshyttan and Vikmanshyttan in southern Dalarna - small industrial villages, as Västanfors, where Rune Lindström was born. Rune Lindström's texts are rare musical - he was himself singer - and has thus attracted composers Hakan Norlén, Anders Borje, Jan Johansson, Lillebror Söderlundh.

Maria Hulthén has set to music both published and unpublished Lindstrom texts. Rune was a pessimistic humorist, he could say that "people never meet" and yet he believed and wrote songs about the love between two people. Rune had high empathy and tremendous awe at life. To drive him in the car - he had no driver's license - Was an interesting experience. Just as a child he wanted to constantly stop and truly experience the such as a summer meadow.
