This double CD contains all music up to 2012 for solo piano by Swedish composer Stellan Sagvik. The pieces span over more than 40 years - from 1969 to 2012 and celebrate both the composer's 60th anniversery as a being and 40 years as a composer.

The CDs also contain the full scores of all the music in pdf files, so any pianist or interested listener can read the music while listening, or play along ;-)

All the pieces are recorded by genious pianist Stefan Lindgren, himself a skilled composer, very handy when it comes to handling the in many ways disparate works by Sagvik. (You find Stefan Lindgren CDs on nosag records here:

ABOUT THE COMPOSER:

Music Web: "Stellan Sagvik must be one of the most prolific composers in Sweden with a production spanning almost all genres. Besides that he has studied singing, acting, woodwind instruments and journalism. ( - - - ) And the music? I have been lucky to review several Sagvik compositions, which have always seemed to me quite accessible, without in any way rubbing the listeners the right way. His free-tonal harmonies and his way of structuring the compositions need a good share of bravery to come to terms with, but in the end I have always felt he has something to say and says it personally and with finesse."
